Guides & walkthroughs
Longer-form, build-it-with-me tutorials that stitch several features together into a complete, runnable program — the kind of thing the per-API reference and the short examples don't cover on their own. Each guide ends with source you can compile and run.
Build a terminal app with klain:tui
A three-part walkthrough: layout & components, then input & state, then live dashboards — building a keyboard-driven to-do list and a self-refreshing system monitor from an empty screen, with real file I/O and OS calls.
Start Part 1 →DesktopBuild a desktop app with klain:webview
A read-only file explorer: a Quasar single-page UI in a native window, backed by real fs calls — directory listing, live text preview, and inline image preview — compiled with --static to one self-contained binary.
Build a load tester with klain:sync
Point klainload at any URL: a pool of goroutine agents hammer it in parallel while a live klain:tui dashboard shows throughput, success rate, and latency percentiles — stop it any time with a keypress and keep the report. Goroutines, channels, select, and a synchronous request client, split across a few modules.
Cross-compile a CLI app for Sailfish OS
Sailfish is glibc/aarch64 Linux: cross-compile a normal command-line program to a 64-bit-ARM binary and package it as an installable RPM — including Harbour naming and automatic private-library bundling. Verified on an Xperia 10 II.
